   Must-see or most recommended :

   AKTUN CHEN which in ancient Mayan language means "cave with an underground river inside ". This park offfers the visitors' eyes the diverse wildlife of the 

   region, featuring sightings of badgers, white-tailed deer, wild boars, spider monkeys, and elusive wild turkeys.

   YAL-KU a natural lagoon adjacent to Akumal that beckons with its natural crystalline waters. By venturing into the lagoon, you will find yourself swimming towards

   the open sea which offers a surreal setting and allows you to observe  a wide array of colorful, exotic fish in their natural habitat.
